His father is a businessman and supplier of the Army of India in Ambala Cantonment. She is the cousin of the actresses Priyanka Chopra, Meera Chopra and Mannara Chopra. She did her education in the convent of Jesus and Mary in the cantonment of Ambala. He then joined Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom to study business, finance and economics. She is also a classical hindustani singer trained with a B.A. Honors in music.
Parineeti Chopra debuted as an actor in the romantic comedy film Ladies against Ricky Bahl in 2011 with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. The film was moderately successful at the box office and won several awards, including the Filmfare Award, the Screen Prize, the Apsara Award and the IIFA Award for Best Debut. The following year, he starred in the lead role with Arjun Kapoor in the romantic drama film Ishaqzaade, for which he received critical acclaim.
